Marilyn's Story:I really started beading back in the 80's. I made a few pair of earrings and sold a few pair. Then I put it away until late 2005. At that point, I started making simple projects like wire, seed bead and crystal star ornaments and pony bead patterns. I discovered bead groups online in early 2006. My obsession with beading really started then. I discovered beadweaving and all other crafts have gone by the wayside. I am a mother of 2 and grandmother of 5. I have my daughter, who loves crafting, and 2 grandchildren living with me. Living here in deep south Texas is a challenge to my beading. Almost everything has to be bought over the internet because closest bead store is about 80-125 miles away. | ||
